An Antique Waltham Half Hunter Pocket Watch, 1908

An antique Waltham half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 16,591,321 which dates it back to 1908. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a little marking but not visible when the covers are closed.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was probably made by the watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition with just a little rubbing to the edge of the case back. There are enamel filled Roman numerals surrounding the small acrylic lens to the front.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition over a signed white enamel which is also in good condition. The watch has the special half hunter hour and minute hands so that the time can be read without opening the front cover.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
