Description

A Pair of 19th Century Silver Sauce Boats.

Each with a broad spout, to a pear shaped body. The rim with fine beaded edge, the bodies mounted with scrolled handles, finished with scrolled leaf thumb grips. The sauce boats standing on legs with leaf decorated shoulders, tapering stepped pad feet.

Marked to the undersides for ' Mappin & Webb, London' and hallmarked for Mappin & Webb, Sheffield 1898.

Height 4 1/2 inches, width 7 1/2 inches, depth 3 1/2 inches.
