Italian Neo-classical Walnut Chest of Drawers Circa 1800

Description

A small Italian Brass Mounted Walnut Chest of Drawers, circa 1800, in Neo-Classical Style, with three fielded panel drawers and raised on tapering supports. With brass fittings, including; handles, escutcheons, channel moulding flanking the drawers, bottom strip and roundels at the top of each support.

The chest has it's original locks, the handles and most likely the escutcheons are old replacements and there would originally have been brass moulding around the fielded panels on the drawer fronts and sides which is now missing.
