Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: witchantiques.com

A walnut linen press circa 1920 and made by Charles Walker & Sons, Harrogate, Yorkshire. A beautifully figured walnut exterior and most unusually, solid Mahogany linings including the drawer bottoms. The octagon shaped brass handles are particularly attractive as is the split bobbin moulding that surrounds the piece. Breaks into two halves for easy movement and is in as good of condition as any item that we have in stock, the drawers internally, are like new. This piece is of the highest quality and is small enough to use anywhere in the house.
