Antique Victorian Mahogany Plum Pudding Combination Wardrobe C1880

Antique Victorian Mahogany Plum Pudding Combination Wardrobe and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top with swan neck pediment above a cross banded frieze with carved cartouche to the centre. To one side there is a full length shaped mirrored door with original brass handle and working key and internally there is a shelf with hanging rail. To the other side there are two small doors with heavily carved oval panels and working key and with three removable sliding mahogany tray drawers. This is above two short and three long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with brass swan neck handles and mahogany plum pudding fronts. The whole standing on a plinth base and separates for ease of transporting.

Measures: 89" high x 22.5" deep x 67.5" wide and internal depth 19.5"

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
