Description

A beautiful burr walnut & marquetry inlaid Victorian Period fold over games/chess/work table. Having a rectangular shaped top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with fine floral marquetry inlay, opening to reveal an ebony, boxwood and kingwood inlaid interior with chess board and back gammon table. The rectangular frieze drawer having a fitted boxwood interior above the sliding sewing box, with fine marquetry detail throughout. The whole supported on four finely turned, carved and fluted columns with acanthus carved cabriole supports and brass and porcelain castors. English circa 1860-1870

Dimensions: 29" high x 28" wide x 16" deep

Condition: This games/chess table is in excellent condition
