Also having double rosewood cross banding and a boxwood beaded edge. The front of the desk has a concave central frieze drawer flanked by four bow front graduating drawers to each pedestal, all the drawers with oak linings, finely cut dovetails and a classic Adam designed urn inlaid to the front. The stiles again with fine marquetry trailing harebells and the whole raised on eight square tapering supports with spade feet. The bowed ends and reverse with fine marquetry panels with urn and laurel leaf inlays. Stamped by the maker Edwards and Roberts to the drawer. English circa 1900
