Description

A small Edwardian mahogany and inlaid bureau bookcase having a swan neck pediment above a moulded cornice with satinwood inlaid banding between boxwood and ebony stringing. The bookcase with 2 astragal glazed doors having conforming inlay with working lock and key, the interior with 2 adjustable shelves. The bureau fall with Sheraton style shell inlays and further satinwood banding and opens to an interior with 2 drawers and 5 pigeon holes. The base having 3 inlaid drawers with brass swan neck handles, oak linings and working locks and keys, the whole standing on shaped bracket feet. Sizes:- Height...83''/ 211cm. Width...30''/ 76cm. Depth...16.5''/ 42cm. Interior Shelf Depth...6.5''/ 16.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
