Antique High Grade Swiss Silver Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique high grade Swiss silver pocket watch.

The watch has a 19 jewel Swiss stem-winding movement, which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which is engraved and 1/2 chronometre, Remontoir spiral Bregeut, 19 rubis, balancier compense.

The watch measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The watch has a galonne case which means it is made out of 800 silver with a rose gold wash around the bezel, the centre section and also around the edge of the case back. Most of the gold wash has worn off the watch from use. Other than that, the case is in good condition and the engine turned detail to the back is still nice and crisp. The inside of the case back has Swiss .800 silver marks.

The watch glass is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original ornate gold coloured hands.

Price includes worldwide postage.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
