The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding jewelled movement, which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model by the England based watch case maker Aaron Dennison.

The watch glass is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.
The white enamel dial is signed with the original retailer’s name, Benj Harral Barnsley . The dial has a faint hairline crack to the edge at 11 o'clock although hardly noticeable to the naked eye.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
