This fantastic half saddlebag face was woven in warp-face technique around the mid 19th century. Sadly, the back is missing but the most important part of the bag remains - the face. Each compartment contains '8-pointed stars' - symbols of spirituality and protection - in beautiful natural shades of indigo-blue, turquoise, golden yellow and madder-red.
