The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement has 15 rubies in gold settings, a patent regulator and a Breguet hairspring. The movement is fully signed and the serial number of 6003550 dates the watch back to 1893/94. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 53mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.

The winding stem pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a plastic lens which is in good condition.
The white double-sunk enamel dial has a few hairline cracks in the number ring, and one to the centre, but they are fairly faint.
