Superb antique Walnut writing box. English C 1880

This delightful writing slope has an excellent red leather original writing surface. There are 2 ink wells, a secret drawer and a drawer in the base. Unusually, the writing surface can be detached from the main and used independantly.

The Walnut is in excellent condition and retains a mellow antique patination.
