Description

An interesting (and rather heavy!) Japanese silvered BRONZE SCULPTURE of a rabbit. Produced during the Meiji period (1868 - 1912), the rabbit is silvered all over, with gilt eyes, and is depicting crouching with front paws raised. Finely detailed underneath, with claws and pads, and also signed with monogram. 5ins wide; 5ins high. (12.5 x 12.5cms)
