A very fine, solid silver and tortoiseshell, Word War I era, Sweetheart Brooch with the Royal Army Service Corps crest in silver inset into the tortoiseshell background. Fully hallmarked on the back for London 1915. There is also a maker''s mark but it runs off the side of the silver (it has not been rubbed - it looks like it was mis-stamped when made).
