Description

A 12 inch globe on stand by W.& A.K. Johnston of Edinburgh with American retailers details for A.J. Nystrom & Co. of Chicago who were the maker's sole agents in the U.S.A. The globe revolves and swivels on a cast metal frame which is marked with degrees for the earth's tilt. The mahogany stand having a turned and carved column with 4 outswept legs and turned feet. Condition- Good with very slight and minor shrinkage marks to the globe, fully readable and in English.

Size:- Height...36''/ 91.5cm. Width...15''/ 38cm. Depth...12''/ 30.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £45.
