Pair Victorian Walnut Balloon Back Chairs

Description

An elegant pair of antique Victorian balloon back chairs in walnut. A good quality example with unusual fish scale carving to the top rails and legs. With stuffover seats and shaped cabriole legs. The seats have been newly reupholstered in a cream brocade fabric.

Condition Report:

Solid and sturdy frames. Frames have been varnished/polished at some point and this has worn off on the back of the legs (see photos). Other wear and marks commensurate with age.
