Tall Victorian Corinthian Column Lamp

19th century
Description

Circa 1890-1910, this is a tall column lamp with a step base and a decorative top.

It was lacquered at some time and there are slight marks where it has rubbed - on one side only - we have highlighted this in the main photo. In reality, they barely shows, and isn't visible at all on the other side. See photo 4.

The decorative top of the column is slightly darker in colour, but that too has been exaggerated by the flash on the camera.

The lamp has a cast iron base and we have had it completely rewired with flex cable and has the base covered with felt.

It measures 42cm in height to the base of the lamp holder and 48cm including the lamp holder. The stepped base is 14cm square.

The price includes postage and packing within the UK mainland only and for delivery elsewhere, please contact us for a quote.
