Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1700s.
The reserves interspersed with sprigs of flowers and leaves, the rim surrounding a centre painted with an oriental lake side scene. The foreground a fence encloses a large tree in blossom, with a tall towered house beside the lake. On the far side of the lake, a house, and wooded hill form the background. The rear with dash decoration to the rim and a small foot rim. In very good condition.
Date c 1720.
