A very good mid-Victorian mahogany chest of drawers of generous proportions. Of very good construction in mahogany with attractive flame mahogany veneers to the drawer fronts. Of unusual drawer configuration with the standard 2 short over 3 long drawers all topped with a long narrow top (underwear) drawer. The charming , original, bun handles are inset with mother of pearl centers. The whole chest stands well on turned , bun feet. This lovely and practical chest is offered for sale in excellent original condition with a wonderful colour and patina.
