Impressive antique French writing desk with a cabinet on top in Kingwood & mahogany, with stunning floral marquetry door panels. It has gilt metal mounts, handles & escutcheons, which are well cast & naturally aged. This piece is in good original condition, with lots of character & I would date it to around the 1920-30's period. The marquetry on the doors is made up of many exotic woods & is very detailed.
