Description

A fine quality satinwood and burr ash inlaid Edwardian Period wardrobe by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple. The stepped moulded cornice with ebony inlay to the frieze, above a central rectangular oval bevelled mirror, flanked by twin panelled doors veneered in beautifully figured burr ash with ebony and chequer band inlaid detail. The doors opening to reveal internal brass hooks and hanging rails. Having quarter reeded columns and solid sides, the base section with one long and one short rectangular mahogany lined drawer. The whole supported in shaped ogee feet, stamped S.P &B to the locks. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 80" high x 72" wide x 21" deep (internal hanging depth 14")

Condition: This wardrobe is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed

A fine quality satinwood and burr ash inlaid Edwardian Period wardrobe by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple.
