A good quality small French mantel clock. A rosewood case with a rococo gilt cast carrying handle. Marquetry inlays to the side panels and top with glass mechanism aperture. A sliding front glass panel. An 8-day duration mechanism signed by maker, 1/2 hour and hour bell striking. An enamel dial with slow/fast regulator to the top. Circa 1850.
