A Gents Boxed 1950s Roamer Popular Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s Roamer Popular wrist watch.

The watch has a signed Roamer MST hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and in good condition for a 1950s piece with just the odd very minor mark, and a tiny area of rubbing near to the winding crown. The signed screw-on stainless steel case back has some marking, with evidence of a thread through style strap.

The lens is in good order.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There is some age related marking to the dial but still very easy to read the time.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a Roamer presentation box… it is a little tatty but still good to have.

We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
