Description

Rare Arts & Crafts oak framed wingback armchair c.1895. Of singular design with pierced heart or spade motifs to the arms. Turned front stiles which rise above the level of the arms and continue as legs to be joined with an unusual shaped stretcher with slatted centre joined to the underside of the seat. Raised on original ceramic castors. Sprung back and seat all freshly reupholstered in a beautiful quality William Morris pattern fabric by Liberty & Co.
