Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
Each with a loop handle cast with folding leaf decoration, above a rising petal socle. The shanks in the form of a triform column, tapering outward and downward to the stepped base, again of rounded triform, decorated with hanging leaves, and spreading to a stepped plinth, following the shape of the base.
Date c 1840.
Height 14 inches, width 5 3/4 inches, depth 3 1/4 inches.
