The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 25,684,341 which dates it back to 1926. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case is in good condition, just a small ‘ding’ to the front but nothing serious at all. The small lens to the front of the watch is glass.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside is a larger glass lens over a signed white enamel dial. There is a short faint hairline crack just beneath the subsidiary seconds dial but other than that, the dial is in good condition. Blued steel hands… note the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read even when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes with a double albert with an 1896 South African coin.
