Marble Top Gueridon Centre Table C.1840.

Description

Superb mid 19th.c. French marble top centre table or Gueridon c.1840. Exceptional and original 39½" diameter marble top featuring an unusually broad shaped edge with concentric rings to stop spilt drinks from dripping onto the floor. On a particularly good mahogany base with turned and craved column raised on shaped tripod legs with scrolling acanthus leaf detail and the original wooden castors. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
