Description

A mahogany Edwardian Period pedestal desk by James Shoolbred & Co. Having a rectangular solid mahogany top with a green inset leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooled detail. The central rectangular mahogany lined frieze drawer, flanked by a further four mahogany lined drawers to each pedestal with fine quality cast brass swan neck handles. Stamped to the drawer by the makers James Shoolbred & Co. Having solid mahogany sides and back panels, supported on a mahogany plinth with concealed castors. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 48" wide x 26" deep x 29" high (knee hole 24" high x 18" wide)

Condition: This desk is in excellent original condition.
