Brass strappings and brass-capped strengthened corners , fitted with carrying handles to the ends .

The top with unengraved /vacant brass name plaque , the front of lid with inset brass lifting handle , below is a brass lock-plate (no key).
Strongly-scented interior with characteristic camphor smell , the exterior of good pale colour.
Has knocks and dents commensurate with age and use . The lid closure with minor warp.
Useful coffee table or storage chest .
