A Magnificent antique mahogany inlaid cabinet on stand by Edwards & Roberts Of London of stunning quality.

The upper section has a broken swan neck pediment with marquetry inlaid detail which is repeated in the fiddleback mahogany frieze. The twin astragal glazed doors open to reveal a silk lined interior with mahogany shelves. The lower section is constructed using the finest fiddleback mahogany and of serpentine outline with fine marquetry and pen-work floral detail. The two mahogany lined drawers with brass swan neck handles, the whole supported on square tapering supports united by a shaped under-tier. Stamped to the drawer by the maker Edwards & Roberts. England circa 1890
