An Antique Waltham Pocket Watch, 1907

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique Waltham pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working nicely. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 15,842,542 which dates it back to 1907. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10 carat gold plated and was made in England by Aaron Dennison, one of the founders of Waltham who later emigrated to the UK. The case has light surface marks but overall is in lovely condition for an antique piece.

The acrylic lens is in good order.

The white enamel dial is in lovely condition.
