The silver is fully hallmarked for London 1894 and the makers mark for a highly collectible silversmith from Bristol, Josiah Williams & Co -George Maudsley Jackson; The firm was the largest manufacturing silversmiths in England outside London, Birmingham and Sheffield.
After the closure of the office (1882) the hallmarking was transferred to London (where George Maudsley Jackson entered his mark).
