A 1930s Revue Pocket Watch, Gédéon thommen

1920 - 1940
Description

A 1930s Revue pocket watch. The Revue name was registered in 1910 by Gédéon Thommen hence the GT initials also on the movement.

The watch has a signed stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case and the lens are in good condition.

The white enamel dial unfortunately has a patch of damage at number 11. The ornate hands are a lovely feature, popular with the Scandinavians in the early part of the 1900s. One of the hands is slightly different in colour.

The watch comes with a single albert, 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
