Large Oil Painting -Boats in a Harbour

Description

Stunning oil on canvas of boats in a harbour by the well listed artist Lucien Staquet (1911-1989).

Staquet was a painter of marines and landscapes. He was established in Mons and organised his first exhibitionin 1941. As well as painting in Belgium he spent time painting in France particularly around Calais and Hornfleur.

The painting is mounted in wooden frame and dates from around 1940-1950.
