The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by a signed inner cover with details of the watch’s movement and also of trade medals won.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 800 silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside both of the case backs. The front of the case is in good condition while there is a little unevenness to the case back.

The acrylic lens is in good order.
The signed dial has a couple of hairline cracks, a short horizontal one at the top and a longer one starting at number 12 running towards number 4. Handsome stylised numbers with an inner red 24 hour dial. The minute hand is a little misshapen… the hands are initially set by way of the pin set mechanism.
