The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a Venus 170 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. Breitling also used the Venus 170 in some of their chronographs.
The watch measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is plated with a snap-on stainless steel case back. There is some wear and marking to the plate. The winding crown is a later replacement.

The lens is in good condition.
The hour and minutes hands appear to be the originals although they have been re-painted at some stage.

The chronograph feature is operated by pressing the top button to start and stop, and the bottom button to re-set (the chrono hand re-sets just a fraction to the left of zero).
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
