Rare William Comyns Silver Inkwell 1913

This Rare SOLID SILVER INKWELL was made by the well-known and sought after silversmith, William Comyns, in 1913.

Of cylindrical form, this lovely inkwell stands on a circular base which has a raised scroll border. The border design is repeated on body of the inkwell below the hinged lid which is finished with a rounded finial. Complete with a glass liner this wonderful inkwell has no added engravings, initials or monograms and is in superb condition despite being over 100 years old.

This is a rare and unusual piece that would look good on any desk, would add to any collection or would make an exceptional gift for someone.
