The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
Relief moulded acanthus leaf terminals, scrolls and with a gadrooned edge all round, the decoration of enamels and gilding is absolutely beautiful.

The squat form creamer and bowl are porcelain with fluted bodies and scalloped rims. The 2 earthenware spoons also match beautifully in form and decoration. A truly stunning set.
The basket measures 10 1/2" long, 11" wide and 6" high. The creamer and sugar bowl are 2 3/8" high and 2 3/4" wide (the jug 3 3/4" spout to handle). The cream ladle is 7 1/8" long and the sifter 4" long. Condition is excellent; with no damage and minimal surface wear to any piece, clearly little used if at all.
