Pair Victorian Brass Candelabra

19th century
Description

Circa 1900 this pair of Victorian candelabra is beautifully made with lovely details on the central column and base. We have darkened the background in the photographs so these details can be seen easily.

The candlesticks measure 43cm in height; the width across the arms is 29cm and the base is approximately 14cm in diameter.

The finial in the centre is removable as shown in one of the images and this allows each candlestick to have three candles. Or by leaving the finial in place, then two candles can be used.

The quality of the brass work can be seen in the way the finial, the base and the central columns are made, and by the weight of each item.
