Description

Very handsome Adams style mahogany writing table by S&H Jewell of Holborn, London c.1900. Leather writing surface within a cross banded flame mahogany border with moulded edge. Over two drawers with gilded brass swan neck handles repeated on the sides. Raised on good fluted and tapering legs to the front and rear, ending in a block foot with ceramic castors hidden below. Oak drawer linings, with a clear makers stamp to the right hand drawer base. Excellent condition, fitted with a new leather skiver, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
