Description

A pretty late 19th century terrestrial GLOBE ON STAND of small size and in good condition. The globe itself is supported on a cast iron stand cast with masks and 'lion's paw' feet. It is signed "J.L & Co., of Paris and stands 8ins (20cms) overall.

*J Lebegue & Co., were based in Brussels and made various globes; their smaller ones were normally signed: "J.L. & Co., Paris."
