Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The frame is deceptively heavy, it has a sturdy carved feet at the bottom and the top rail is base carved on both sides with stylised fruit and flowers and a fierce flying bird, there was no hammer with this gong so we have included a new one
The gong is 16” in diameter and the stand is 36” high, 23” wide and 10 deep on the floor
