The open shelf section having carved bamboo panels to each end with decorative dragons to the front. The rear panels, one with carved peacocks amongst chrysanthemum flowers. The smaller panel with resting birds and a bird in flight amongst rocks and blossoming cherry trees.

The bow fronted door having an interior scene with hanging basket, balustrading and bronze vase with flowers sitting on a table. The 2 hinged doors having mountainous scenes with trees, rocks, pagodas, temple and Japanese characters. Below are 3 drawers each with recessed panels and carved decoration of teapots, a tied purse, chrysanthemums, pots and flowering peonies. The whole sits on a base of typical form with open carved frieze and scroll feet. Condition - Very good with minor age shrinkage to the bow fronted door commensurate with age and use.
