A vintage 1920s silver Record pocket watch & chain.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The high grade movement is signed Record Watch Co, Swiss made, 17 jewels the movement also has a micro regulator. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 49.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and both of the back covers are hallmarked for Birmingham 1923, with a maker's mark for the English watch case maker Dennison. The case has light surface marks from use and a small "ding" to the outer edge but overall it is in nice condition. The inner back cover has initials of a previous owner lightly scratch on it.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack to the centre although hardly noticeable.

The watch has blued steel hands.

The watch comes on a vintage silver chain, each link of the chain is stamped with the lion passant mark.

The chain measures 30cm including the T bar and clasp.
