Description

A fine quality French marble topped ormolu mounted bookcase from the workshops of the well respected Henry Dasson (1825 -1896). Constructed from the finest satinwood and mahogany with kingwood cross banding and boxwood and ebony inlay. The three quarter galleried marble top above twin brass mesh grill inset doors enclosing 3 adjustable shelves. The canted corners with ormolu capital mounts and reeded columns above the ormolu mounted plinth base and the whole standing on turned tapering legs with ormolu sabot.
