Description

An early 19th Century mahogany Hepplewhite style elbow chair having an open vase shaped splat inlaid with pen worked satinwood and stained woods. The shaped open arms terminating with matching inlaid roundels and the serpentine shaped front rail inlaid with pen worked leaf and oval roundels. The old leather drop in seat is in excellent condition and the chair stands on square tapering front legs with outlined boxwood inlay and outswept back legs.

Condition - very good, possibly Irish. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £35.

Sizes - Height 36" / 91.5cm. Width 21.25'' / 54cm. Depth 20.25'' / 51.5cm. Seat Height 18.5'' / 47cm.
