A stunning Chinoiserie cabinet chest on stand with black, gold and coloured lacquer decoration. The 2 doors having typical Oriental scenes with pagodas, foliage, geese, trees and Chinese characters. The sides decorated with flowers and flying birds framed within gold and silver outlines. The doors open to reveal an interior of 9 various sized drawers all with further chinoiserie decoration and good quality brass drop handles and all solid oak linings. The original gold lacquered base decorated with birds, leaves, berries, flowers and standing on tall Queen Anne style legs with pad feet. In very good condition with working lock and key. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
