1950 Watch Universal Geneve Tri-compax

Description

A 1950 Universal Geneve Tri-Compax gents wristwatch in 18K Gold. This is a superb example with the original dial finish and in excellent condition, the mechanism has just been overhauled. Rectangular chronograph push buttons and side re-set recessed buttons. The dial has applied rose gold dart and square markers, dauphine hands and centre sweep chrono hand. The outer dial has blue markers to 1000 UPH. It has constant seconds dial, 12 hour and moon-phases with days of the month. Days of the week aperture and month in English. A calibre 481 manual wind mechanism. Case ref 12295 and 1454487 marked to the back. A stamped U.G. winder. An original box. An iconic watch and one of the best looking dials they ever produced.

Case width 34mm (excluding winder).
