Antique English Sterling Silver Heart Pill Box - Bee - 1900

Description

A very pretty and most unusual little heart shaped pill box made from English sterling silver. What makes this one stand out from the crowd is the little Bee on the lid incorporated into the repousse lid surrounding the vacant cartouche to the centre.

The lid opens to reveal the original gilding. The underside has a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1900, late Victorian in era. The makers initials are also present for the silversmith for Henry Williamson Ltd.

1 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 3/4" tall.
